Acropora desalwii

Acropora desalwii is a plocoid deepwater SPS coral, described by Wallace in 1994. Found mainly on tropical reef slopes between 15 and 30 metres deep, it is characterised by slow growth and distinctive corallites. A vulnerable species under the IUCN, listed on CITES Appendix II.
